It was late and the hotel is a long way from anywhere so we didn't feel like we had many options other than to stay. We checked in at around 10pm and had to sign a form saying that there was a no outside alcohol policy and we agreed to have our luggage searched if the hotel deemed it necessary (which felt a little overbearing) Also, we were informed that all of the hotel pools and hot tubs are only for 21 year olds and over. This was the last day of a SoCal road trip and we just wanted to relax by the pool for a day before returning home. Like many people, we used a hotel booking website for our visit. We are a family of four with a couple of teenagers.
